SCS Expands Solutions Portfolio to include Liquid Coatings
With the acquisition of Diamond-MT (DMT) in March, SCS is pleased to expand its coatings portfolio to include liquid coating services. Liquid coatings, including acrylics, silicones, urethanes, epoxies and ultrathin coatings, are currently being serviced through the company’s facilities in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and Melbourne, Florida. These facilities are ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev. D certified and specialize in the application of liquid coatings as well as Parylene conformal coatings.
Regarding the acquisition of DMT in March, SCS President and CEO Tim Bender stated, “Diamond-MT built a strong business over the past 20 years, and we were excited to welcome their company into the SCS family. I am confident that their capabilities and experience in the conformal coatings industry joined with SCS’ history in Parylene services and conformal coating equipment will open new opportunities for our current and future customers. We look forward to fully utilizing these two liquid coating service sites and anticipate extending these capabilities to other sites in the future.”
