SCS Expands PrecisionCure UVC (MUV) Line with New Double-Sided Curing Option

The SCS PrecisionCure UVC microwave UV curing system is now available in two configurations – single- and double-sided curing – offering even greater flexibility to manufacturers and efficiency for their curing processes.
With programmable profiles and a compact design, the PrecisionCure UVC (MUV) delivers superior UV curing performance. The system utilizes Heraeus Noblelight® microwave-activated UV lamps, the industry standard in microwave UV curing technology, ensuring exceptional curing results.
The PrecisionCure UVC (MUV) offers single-sided curing with the industry’s smallest footprint. It features a patent-pending lamp movement trolley that allows the UV lamp(s) to move seamlessly across the horizontal axis over a product on the conveyor. Users can customize each profile to vary the dosage of UV exposure on different components of a single board as well as the number of lamp passes. For larger production environments, the double-sided unit provides even more versatility with two-, four- or six-lamp configurations available. Both models accommodate boards up to 28 inches long and are equipped with pneumatically-operated inlet/outlet shutters for enhanced process control.
The curing system fully integrates with SCS’s PrecisionCoat and PrecisionAdvance systems, providing manufacturers a comprehensive solution. It features Windows®-based software and a user-friendly touchscreen monitor, streamlining operation and monitoring of the curing process. Engineered for continuous operation, the curing system minimizes downtime for maintenance and increases overall production efficiency.
