SCS Launches Next-Generation G4 Spin Coater
SCS has launched its next-generation G4 Spin Coater Series and will be exhibiting the new unit at SMTA International October 21-23, 2025.
The G4 Spin Coater is designed for precision, reliability and advanced usability, meeting the evolving needs of research, development and small-scale production environments. It features a newly designed, removable touchscreen interface that allows for intuitive navigation and operational flexibility, making it ideal for use within fume hoods and glove boxes. Additionally, a newly relocated utility panel allows easier access to connections, improving setup and compatibility across lab environments.
The G4 also offers optional Bluetooth® communication via Windows®-compatible software and is available with an interlocking hinged tempered glass or impact-resistant PVC lid. The software monitors system diagnostics and enables coating profile management and setting adjustments. G4 Spin Coaters can store up to 30 programs with 20 steps each, simplifying workflows for applications such as photoresists, dopants, polyimides and metallo-organics. The G4 ensures precise control over spin rate, acceleration and process consistency.
