Specialty Coating Systems to present during CHARGED Virtual Conference on EV Engineering

March 24, 2022
Brent Frizzell

March 24, 2022 (Indianapolis, IN) – Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) is pleased to announce that it will present during the CHARGED Virtual Conference on EV Engineering on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. EDT. Brent Frizzell, Electronics and Transportation Market Segment Manager will present during the session entitled, “Electronic System Design: Selecting the Right Protective Conformal Coatings.”

Introducing the right materials early in the design phase of an EV system helps to optimize cost and design. One common challenge is protecting vehicle electronics, PCBs, sensors and components from moisture, electrical shorts, corrosion and more. OEMs and Tier 1 product designers have turned to conformal coatings to optimize their systems to handle these real-world challenges. This session will explore various conformal coatings to help you select the right material for your product design and early design testing.

Frizzell has nearly 10 years of experience in the industrial sensor and factory automation markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
