Free Forum on Designing Medical Devices

Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) is sponsoring a new forum on October 20, 2013.  Along with Oliver Tolas, Zestron, NAMSA and Amsonic, SCS is offering a one-day seminar, entitled “Designing Medical Devices: Advanced Solutions for Today’s Designers.”

This forum is a great educational opportunity for engineers on various aspects of the medical device design process, including regulatory affairs, cleaning, device coating, final preparation and packaging.

This event’s Keynote Speaker is Georg Bauer, Department Manager Foreign Affairs, from TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH. Mr. Bauer’s presentation, “Medical Device Registration and Listing in the USA” will focus on 510(k) premarket notification. Presentations throughout the day will appeal to engineers in many disciplines, including R&D, design, manufacturing, quality, materials and electronics, as well as to those involved in regulatory affairs and product management.

The Designing Medical Devices forum will be held at the Le Meridien Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany, which offers close proximity to the airport and train station. Admission to this seminar is free, pre-registration is required.

An evening reception will be available to those wishing to arrive the evening before.
